Beast of the East Restaurant

From the team behind Gojira Ramen & Sushi, Beast of the East brings a beautiful mix of homemade Thai, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese dishes together under one roof — a rad dining room hung with an ever-changing collection of local art, playing an epic music playlist, with room for up to 90 people. Owners BJ James and Toshiko Casas cut the ribbon August 3, 2026.

Pull up a seat for Thai and Japanese curries, beef bulgogi, orange chicken, chicken karaage, kalbi short ribs, pad Thai, pad see ew, and drunken noodles — plus tom kha, tom yum, cucumber salad, ahi poke, okonomiyaki, shrimp dynamite, and homemade egg rolls off the appetizer list. A massive selection of Japanese sake and shochu, Japanese and Thai beer, and local June Lake Brewing rounds out the bar.
